Episode 28: Kelly Finley

Kelly Finley loves big, cusses a lot and no longer seeks approval. She is a parent, partner and proud almost-50 year-old.

She is the co-founder of Girls Rock Charlotte (huge shout out to Girls Rock NC for helping her start the small but mighty program).

She is also a Senior Lecturer and the Undergraduate Advisor for the Women’s & Gender Studies Program at UNC-Charlotte and a Ms. Magazine Committee Scholar.

Finley’s research interests include: history of feminisms, gender and work policy, adolescence, sexuality and virginity.

When not juggling two passions and a family, she enjoys digging in the dirt and the never-ending quest for the best Pilsner.
