Episode 17: Christi Schiavo Williams
Christi grew up in as a new wavy/punk rock teen in the DC Metro suburbs where there were some phenomenal vintage shops in the 80s. She opened her first vintage clothing store in Maryland in 1991. She sold the store to go back to college, but never was too far from vintage. She worked in retail management and had antique/vintage booths in Texas and later Washington, DC.
After a stint in corporate retail, she opened Kitsch-y-cool Vintage Clothing at Sleepy Poet Antique Mall, and decided to pursue vintage again full time.
